Author Guidelines

Writing Guidelines for the Abdi Wira Husada Journal since its publication in 2024. 1. Introduction The Abdi Wira Husada Journal, with registration number ISSN xxxx-xxxx (print), 3063-1378 (online) is a multidisciplinary scientific journal published by the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital College of Health Sciences. This journal is at the national level covering many general problems or issues related to Nursing and Midwifery. The purpose of publishing this journal is to disseminate conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the field of Nursing and Midwifery. The Abdi Wira Husada Journal, the editorial board invites you to submit your manuscript for publication in this journal. The writing guidelines are attached here. 2. How to Write the Title, Name, and Author Address The title of the manuscript should be written at the top of the first page with center text alignment. Meanwhile, the author's name (without academic title), and the author's affiliation address should be written with center text alignment also below the article title. The author must leave a one-line space between the title and the author's name. Then, the distance between the author's affiliation address and the abstract title is single-spaced. Keywords should be written below the entire abstract for all words. Keywords should be arranged alphabetically and separated by semicolons for a maximum of three to five words. Communication regarding article revisions and final statements will be informed via email to the corresponding author only. If there is more than one author, the author's name must be written and separated by a comma (,). If the author's name consists of at least two words, the first name should not be abbreviated. If the author's name is only one word, it should be written as it is. However, in the online version, it will be written as two words with the same name repeated for metadata indexing purposes.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
